Headlines created for the Atlantic serve the purpose of drawing in an interested audience, as all headlines do. Some ask a question that the reader may share an interest in, such as "Is The Bar Too Low For Special Education?" or "Are Trump's Tweets Presidential?" Others serve as a slight clickbait, such as the article "Are We Having Too Much Fun?" where a picture of a rollercoaster is used, leading one to think the article is about general entertainment, but it ends up covering the downsides to humor used in political and social movements. The majority of all article headlines, however, tend to be simply straightforward and informational, such as "Live Coverage of the Presidential Inaguration," and "America's Two-Front War of Ideas."
